Summer is over and September is knocking on the door… the familiar refrain by now is: I don’t know where August went! If you’ve been following my Instagram stories you’ll know I haven’t really been active on the blog – or reading much – these past couple of weeks as I’ve been covering the Venice Film Festival for Clapper. Going to the Festival is always a fantastic experience and I’m so grateful I could do it again this year. If you’re at all interested in films, you can check out my reviews over there for the ones I watched as they’ll be published in the coming days, or follow me on Letterboxd.
If instead you’re only looking for books, you’re in the right place! August was a fairly quiet month reading-wise particularly because most days it was so hot I could hardly concentrate on anything. I usually love summer, but for once I’m looking forward to autumn and cooler weather so I can get my reading mojo back!
What I added to my shelves…
