November is over and I can almost hear the sleigh bells ringing! This year I want to try something new to get fully into the Christmas spirit and bring to a close the year of my blog’s 10th anniversary. So, allow me to present to you… (drum rolls, please) Book for Thought’s first ever Advent Calendar!
As I reflected on the past decade for my blogiversary, I realised that there have been lots of great books I read over the years that I haven’t really re-visited or talked about much after my review, and I don’t see quite as often on social media. I’m often focused on new releases and my endless TBR – and they’re really exciting! – but sometimes I also miss reflecting back on the books that stayed with me long after I turned the final page.
So this year allow me to be your ghost of books past as I reminisce and introduce you to some of the books I read and loved over the years.
I’ll share one book every day, in no particular order, from tomorrow December 1st until the 24th, both here and on Instagram. It won’t be an exhaustive list (how could it ever!) and the books featured are a varied bunch covering a wide range of genres – eclectic, if you will, just like my reading tastes. I look forward to sharing them with you all!
