It’s only really been a few days, but February already seems so far away. It was an absolute whirlwind, I’ll admit, and I ended up doing maybe half of the things I had originally planned. But that’s okay, we learn and recalibrate. Work has been taking up a lot of my time and energy as I dove fully into my new coaching practice (and a new IG page to boot – what was I thinking lol). I can definitely feel the tiredness that comes from running a business (albeit a small one) but I genuinely love it so it’s all worth it!
That being said, between pouring most of my energy into work and taking a few days off to attend the Berlinale film festival in Berlin (which was amazing and – again – extremely tiring… I’m sensing a trend here haha), my reading time wasn’t as extensive as I would have liked and this blog once again took a hit. I am determined to find a way to fit all my passions in the measly 24 hours at my disposal every day, so I will crack this yet!
Let’s have a look at February…
What I read…

I was so happy when my copy of Jump by D. L. Orton for the book tour arrived just as I was finishing reading the first book in the series, because I don’t know how I would have managed with that cliffhanger otherwise. Another very solid sci-fi book (a genre I don’t read too often), that I actually reviewed as soon as I finished reading it. I’m as shocked as you are.
The only other book I managed to finish in February was Good People by Patmeena Sabit. A very unusual read (in the best possible way) and one I hope to find the time to talk more about soon because it really deserves it. If you’ve read it, let me know what you thought of it!
What I added to my shelves…
