I’m joining in WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words in which we talk about the Three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently reading

Still slowly making my way through Dream Count, and I think it’ll keep me company for a while longer, as I’m not really listening to audiobooks all that much at the moment. I’m also reading The Lights of Shantinagar for the blog tour. I’m quite enjoying it so far, but we’ll see if it keeps up once I get a bit further.
Recently read

The last book I finished was The Forty Rules of Love, which I read for the blog tour of the newly redesigned edition releasing in July. If you missed it, my review went up yesterday.
I also finally finished A Rap on Race by James Baldwin and Margaret Mead. I’d started this a while ago and paused for some reason I no longer remember. I finally picked it back up and finished it quickly as soon as I realised I had paused it with only 50 pages left! This is a verbatim transcript of a conversation between the two authors, so at times it made for a fairly inconclusive and frustrating read, but there were enough fascinating and thoughtful reflections to make it a worthwhile read for me. I’m very curious to read some of Baldwin’s other works now.
Up next

I joined yet another blog tour organised by Dave at TheWriteReads, this time for Silverbirds at the end of this month. With excellent timing, my copy arrived today so I’ll be starting it as soon as I finish my current read.
