My Spooktober TBR

Happy October!

Part of me is sad to see that the days are visibly getting shorter and shorter, but I’m definitely looking forward to the return of soup & sweater season. October also means the return of one of my favourite seasonal reading challenges: the Spooktober challenge organised by @ofmadnessandmagic over on Instagram. If you don’t already follow Alessa, take this as your sign to go do that now!

This year’s challenge is vampire-themed, and I am so here for it! Technically, the challenge started on the Autumn Equinox (22nd September), but I like to share my TBR closer to October. The full rules can be found in Alessa’s post linked above. I’ll be aiming for the lowest level, Vampire Servant (one item per category).

I might swap out a few books here and there depending on what reading mood I’m in, but this is what I’m currently planning. I already started The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida as my library hold came in just before the challenge start date, and there are quite a few titles on here that I’ve been meaning to pick up for ages so I’m really looking forward to it!

Have you read any of my picks?
Will you take part in any Halloween-themed challenges this year?
