Well, hello everyone! It’s been a while. October seems so far away, yet I realised I still hadn’t posted my wrap-up for the month! Honestly, life has been life-ing hard and I had to pause this blog as I tried to juggle a lot of things at once. But I have missed this space and you folks so much! I’m going to really try to make time for this again and catching up with everything that’s been happening.
What I read…

I’m somewhat surprised that I managed to read 4 books in the craziness of October! Two of these were actually old NetGalley e-arcs that have been languishing on my shelf for far too long, so I’m really happy that I finally got to them.
- Dragonfruit by Makiia Lucier
- Icarus by K. Ancrum
- When the Tides Held the Moon by Venessa Vida Kelley
- Fiori Sopra l’Inferno by Ilaria Tuti
What I added to my shelves…

Surprisingly, I’ve been very good with adding new books to my shelves this month! I only got two new ones, one of which was my Illumicrate subscription and the other was a birthday gift to myself.
- The Second Death of Locke by V. L. Bovalino
- Wellness by Nathan Hill
What I’m reading…

Look at me, actually sticking to a TBR and reading books from my shelves for once! Still fully leaning into the gothic vibes with my current reads, and I am LOVING it.
- Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
- The Witchwood Knot by Olivia Atwater
That’s it for now!
